Boo Will Ferrell
So I watched the movie 'Kicking and Screaming' tonight, where Will Ferrell is coaching a little league soccer team, and I must say I was not too impressed. First of all, the 'man-who-randomly-ends-up-coaching a-little-league-sports-team-that's-in-last-place-but-wins-the-championship
[usually-involving-a-bet-amongst-coaches]' story line has been done quite a few times [my personal favorite is mighty ducks], and so it gets no points for originality. The other plot twist is that the first place team is coached by his super-competitive father, much like the 1994 movie 'Little Giants', where Rick Moranis randomly ends up coaching a little league team in last place, and his super-competitive brother coaches the first place team. Secondly, Will Ferrell was no good. His character was this calm guy who starts drinking coffee and goes nuts [it sounds like i'm sarcastic or not reading into it enought but honestly that's what happens], and it is completely not realistic. Honestly, I was more entertained by the kids then Will Ferrell.
Ahh the kids. This movie does get a couple points for it's actors under thirteen. The kids were super cute, and funny, my personal favorite was the kid who plays Beans from 'Even Stevens', he's great. The one who played Will Ferrell's son was really cute too. Oh, and the italians were amazing little soccer players. However, the kids were no match for the terrible script, and so the movie was still dissapointing.
On the other hand, one thing that never lets me down is Lipton Cup-a-Soup. But only the chicken noodle kind [which is actually just noddle, you never find chicken in it, and when you do, its sort of gross so I normally just throw it out].

Yeah. I watched that movie the other evening myself. It was pretty annoying. My favorite part was the Buck's Balls commercial when he's like "BasketBALLS... SoccerBALLS... Hockey PUCKS." I laughed then.
